How do you say in Spanish...?

I'm trying to write bilingual dialogue for a project of mine, where a woman rejects a guy in Spanish after he asks her out in English, and I want to make sure that it's correct. There's a scene where a guy says, "You know that I can understand you in Spanish also." I wrote it down as, "Tu' sabes que me te comprende in espanol tambien." (Excuse me for the misspellings of the Spanish words. My alt codes aren't working on my PowerBook G4 laptop).
