If you found money what would you do?

I just found a wad of money the other day, but had no idea as to how much it was because I didn't count it. I handed it in to the nearest cashier and said that someone had dropped the money. About 5 minutes later, an elderly couple rushed back in the store and were looking around on the floor. The cashier asked if she could be of help and they told her that they had dropped a large sum of cash. She asked how much and they said, $500 and she handed them the money I brought to her. I was raised to believe that dishonesty in small matters is not a small matter...I would turn in any amount of money because I would want the same thing done for me.
