What is the Christian definition of "free will", when their "god" doesn't even have it?

I am always amazed by the obtuseness of questions about free will. If you dressed yourself, decided what to have for lunch, chose not step in front of a bus, just to name a few of the common activities of most of us, how can you not understand free will? Maybe I should try to be more patient with those that find this an intellectual challenge.
