Well, Mr. Darcy talks Mr. Bingly out of marrying Jane Bennet at first, then Elizabeth turns down Mr. Darcy after is rude proposal, and then she turns down Mr. Collins because he is creepy. And when Mrs. Bennet reacts to Lizzie turning down Mr. Collins, Mr. Bennet tells her that if she does not marry mr. collins, Mrs. Bennet will never talk to Lizzie again, but if she does marry mr. collins, Mr. Bennet will never see her again.
