Question about my pup!!!?

hi!!! I have a 7 week old dogue de bordeaux, :) i have him on royal canin dog food. but i had a question abot his coat or fur, i want him to have a very nice soft coat when he gets older, is there any good products out there, like shampoos, or conditioners, i have heard some things, like putting veggie oil in there dog food or an egg half cooked lik once a day for a shinnier coat, i was just curious. i wouldnt really start this for a few more months, hes still a bit young. also does any one know a good brush to use? the breeder i got him from uses horse brushes on her dogues and likes those, what have yall used?? they have short hair! any little tips would be great! one thing though, these dogues tend to have sensitie skin so i cant bathe him often!!!
