In Jewish tradition, there are seven archangels. Could Michael be the Son of God, his firstborn?

What do your sacred Hebrew writings have to say about archangels in general and Michael in particular? There is one Christian denomination who claim that the Son of God was created as Michael the Archangel and I need some background information, preferably from any of the Hebrew scriptures that Christians use in their Bible.
