Why do people think the knicks gave up to much when they were'nt going to keep Chandler anyways?

Chandler was going to ask for a big contract after this season and we weren't going to keep him anyways.Gallinari was way too inconsistent and we are going to sign Earl Barron to replace Moz.So essentially the Knicks basically traded Gallinari and Mozgov for Carmelo,Sheldon Williams,and Balkman.Balkman is a SOLID DEFENDER and they got Corey Brewer and he's also a SOLID defender. think the Knicks robbed the Denver Nuggets and this was their best trade in Franchise history.
